DR. ROSIE OAKS, DO

Rosie Oaks, DO has a passion for comprehensive, evidence-based care in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She completed a combined 7-year program at Ohio University, earning both her undergraduate degree in biology and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her dermatology residency at HCA Florida Largo Hospital, where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Oaks has clinical interests in skin cancer detection and treatment, acne, and general medical dermatology. She also enjoys helping patients feel confident in their skin through cosmetic treatments including neuromodulators, fillers, and laser therapies. She believes in a thoughtful, individualized approach to care that emphasizes patient education and shared decision-making.
Originally from Columbus, Dr. Oaks is thrilled to return home to care for the community where she was raised and where much of her large extended family still lives. With a strong interest in clinicopathologic correlation, she has co-authored several dermatology publications and case reports. She enjoys the diagnostic process and is committed to integrating up-to-date literature into patient care.
Outside of work, Dr. Oaks enjoys staying active, exploring Columbus with her husband, and spending time with their two basset hounds.
